CHRISTINA is a collection of poems in Scots Gaelic set to music by Donnie Large Macdonald.

This album began with the poems of Christina Macdonald (née
Macleod), Donnie’s mother. She wrote poems about village life from the late 50s and 60s. During the 70s, Donnie wrote original melodies for these early poems. As a result, Christina began writing new verses and Donnie more tunes, and a songwriting partnership evolved between mother and son. The full collection of 26 songs is now recorded on this double-disc album.
