Healing is the debut EP by Aberdeenshire singer/songwriter AJ Mclovely. The collection of four tracks includes three self penned songs and collaborations with a variety of other musicians, representing thoughtful lyrics about hope, loss and healing in a variety of musical genres.

Featuring musicians from around Scotland and Greece, the EP is an eclectic fusion of musical styles that showcase Aj’s delicate, soulful, melodic vocal and songwriting talents.

Aj, real name, Amanda Jane Taylor, started her musical career just prior to lockdown, performing at open mic nights and forming a band. During lockdown, Aj begun performing live online gigs in order to entertain and bring joy to people’s lives. Her popularity quickly gathered pace throughout the world and this resulted in the songwriting and collaborations now featured together for the first time on this EP.

Aj’s influences range from Sheryl Crow to P!nk and she is currently working on an album of original, self-penned material as well as a covers album and further collaborations with well-known local artists.
