‘Choose My Company’ is Scottish singer-songwriter Beth Malcolm’s second EP to date. Decidedly stripped back and acoustic in sound, the EP is a collection of self-penned songs written in Glasgow – the city which has become Beth’s lyrical muse. Natively a ‘Jazzer’, Dorian Cloudsley brings sensitive and energetic guitar accompaniment to Beth’s folk-influenced keys and voice.

Following several years developing her songwriting, keyboard playing and performing in the UK and Germany, and at festivals such as Celtic Connections and the Country2Country festival in London, Beth released her debut EP ‘Better By Noon’ in 2015. Beth met Fat-Suit guitarist Dorian Cloudsley while they were both performing at the DK Open Stage at Celtic Connections in 2017, and they have been writing and delivering captivating sets together ever since.

2019 has been a busy year for Beth; performing at the Orkney Folk Festival; winning Edinburgh Folk Club’s 44th songwriting competition; and launching ‘Choose My Company’ EP on her first solo tour.
