The title track of the album, Wild, Feral and Fierce,’  is a metaphorical song, which expresses the joy that is found within self acceptance and positive transformation. Like the shape-changing themes of the title track, this album is a journey through some of the most powerful and emotionally impactful narratives in the tradition.

Drawing from a rich well of traditional musical influences from the UK and Scandinavia, Holly Clarke thrusts you into the heart of her atmospheric album that will haunt you with its rich stories. Joining Holly on this album, is a core band featuring Anna Hughes of Salthouse & Watersmeet on Fiddle & Viola, Amy Thatcher of Kathryn Tickell & The Darkening & The Shee on Accordion & synth and John Pope of Archipelago & MeLostMe on Double Bass.
