The Scottish Album of The Year Award, otherwise known as the ‘SAY Award’, established in 2012, is a prestigious and exciting arts prize which has a £20,000 first prize and a further 9 runner up prizes of £1,000 each.

The Longlist of 20 was announced at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on the 1st August. The SAY Award Longlist promotion runs from Monday 6th August until Sunday 19th August –  the SAYlonglist Albums of the Day will be shared on social media using #SAYlonglist18 – check out The Say Award on Twitter @SAYaward, Facebook facebook.com/SAYaward.

A public vote will run from the 20 – 22nd August and the SAY Award shortlist will be announced on the 23rd August. The winner will be announced at an award ceremony which will take place on Thursday 6th September in Paisley Town Hall.
