Releasing music, either in a physical format or digitally, comes with a lot of boxes that need ticked and a lot of i’s that need dotted. We offer a host of products and services to cover much of the admin work. MCPS application support, allocating barcode numbers and ISRCs, and more!

Barcodes

We can issue 12-digit UPC barcode numbers and graphics, as well as advise on best practice for including these on your packaging. We also offer a service to add the barcode graphic to your artwork for you.

ISRCs

ISRC stands for International Standard Recording Code. ISRCs are required in order to release music digitally. Whilst optional, we would also recommend adding these to your audio master.

DDP Conversion

DDP (Digital Description Protocol) is the industry-standard format for delivering audio masters. It is the best format for replicated CDs. We can convert your WAV files to the DDP format.

MCPS Application

In order to release a music product in the UK, you will require approval from MCPS. Partnered with PRS, MCPS ensure that royalties (if due) are paid to the appropriate songwriters and composers. We can submit your MCPS application on your behalf.

IPR Form

IPR stands for Intellectual Property Rights. Before we can produce your discs, you must confirm that you own the rights to the material you would like us to copy. To do this, you sign an IPR Declaration. We’ll send you a link to the form and are very happy to guide you through completing it.

Meta Data Registration

When a CD is inserted into a computer, that computer’s media player will often bring up the album title, artist name and track titles. Despite popular belief, this information is not encoded onto a CD itself and is instead drawn from an online database. We can submit your information so that the correct meta data is always shown.
